Did you know that, upon graduation from UNCG, you are automatically a member of the UNCG Alumni Association? There are no dues to pay, just services available to all graduates. How engaged you are in our programs and services is up to you. To that end, we encourage you to read this article from Affordable Colleges Online, which gives 11 Reasons to Join (or in our case, Work With) Your Alumni Association, and also provides tips on leveraging your alumni network and the do’s and don’ts of networking in general.

You’ve just graduated. More than likely you have started your journey towards your desired career path. You may also have celebrated your recent achievement with an amazing summer get away. Then before you know it fall comes around and you find yourself reminiscing about your experience at UNCG. You may even find that you have a desire to stay connected to your UNCG family.
The Regional Alumni Clubs were formed to provide alumni with an opportunity to stay connected with other graduates while fostering pride in our alma mater and staying true to UNCG’s motto of service. There are six alumni clubs that host various events throughout the year including networking events, community service events as well as social events. It’s a great opportunity to reconnect, network, meet new people and give back to your local community. Alumni Clubs are open to UNCG alumni, parents, friends, fans and students. Locations are in Atlanta, Charlotte, the Triad area, the Triangle area, NYC and Washington, D.C. Be sure to update your contact information at alumni.uncg.edu/update to receive communications about upcoming events in your area!
For more information about an Alumni Club in your area or how to get involved, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
It’s the most wonderful time of year for many UNCG Students!
The 2nd annual Red Carpet Reception is a new tradition honoring all graduates receiving a diploma from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. UNCG’s class of 2015 will walk the infamous red carpet in celebration and recognition of their achievements in higher education. It is also during this ceremony that graduates are inducted into the UNCG Alumni Association.
This year’s event is hosted by the UNCG Alumni Association and GOLD (Graduates of the Last Decade) Council. Jeff Collins, president of the Alumni Association, and Brandi Nicole Johnson, vice president of the GOLD Council, will welcome new graduates into the Alumni Association with opening remarks and a celebratory toast. Graduates and their families are invited to meet and connect with fellow alumni prior to the official graduation ceremony.
Congratulations to the Class of 2015, our newest members of the Alumni Association! Once a Spartan always a Spartan.
We are the long-ago, the right now, the yet to come, We are UNCG Alumni.
